LaShawnda is an observer who document in words and images. As an independent photographer for Harvest Photo, LaShawnda’s work focuses on women, spiritual growth, social justice and the beauty of everyday life wherever she is. She’s been photographing demonstrations, marches and protests since December 2014. She’s been photographing life since 1986.

Her choice mediums for sharing her work are books, calendars, art prints, greeting cards and t-shirts. Photo services are available for head shots, portraits, branding, product promo, and events.

LaShawnda Jones grew up in the Midwest, in several spots around Lake Michigan. She spent nearly fifteen years in New York City, followed by three years in Tucson, AZ. In 2021, she returned to Milwaukee, WI where she attended high school and college.
