From Behind

Humans judge others from appearance all the time. From Behind began as an observation of people living their lives with no information about how they look.

I AM WOMAN

I AM WOMAN is an ongoing series of candid portraits of women expressing how they see themelves.

The first publication in this series focused on Black Women in America speaking for themselves in I AM WOMAN: Expressions of Black Womanhood in America.

This is an ongoing series that began in late 2014 with protests and marches against police brutality and state-sanctioned murder with no consequences. As events have been added to the collection, the common thread is the persistent oppression of human beings across the globe. The common hope is when we are outraged enough, we show up for each other.

Sacred Places

I’ve always been intrigued by places set apart for worship. The artistry of sacred spaces ranges from simple to elaborate. I photograph the buildings, architecture and design that captures my eye.
